The slab has been placed and the modular building components have arrived on site.
The panel sections are pre-finished and insulated, merely fasten the panels together.
The roof sections are full width, hinged in the center. Unfold and set each section in place.
Doors are pre-installed in the panels for ease of installation.
Add exterior flashing, gutters, downspouts and trim to complete the structure.
Surface mounted fluorescent lighting and three roll-up doors are being installed in the shop area.
The shop area is 48' x 24 'x 14' high.
Another smaller section, 21' x 21' x 10' high houses the office, lunchroom and restroom areas.
A single '3070' door provides passage between the shop and admin areas.
CEMCO framing is being installed around the perimeter walls. All exposed metal is pre-painted to match/complement the vinyl covered wall panels.
All CEMCO wall components are pre-finished and complete when installed, no sanding, painting, etc.
Walls are 9' high vinyl clad sheetrock to provide an 8'-6" acoustic ceiling height.
Door back into shop can be seen in the first photo. This will become the lunchroom area.
Center photo shows a typical corner using CEMCO framing. The wall is offset in the restroom area to provide a chase for plumbing drains, vents and supply lines.
Top and bottom views of the offset corner.
The restroom is to the left, the lunchroom sink and cabinets will go on the right side.
Some of the electrical work has started in the admin area. The shop area electrical is complete at this point.
Wall panel installation has started.
Panels slip into a slot in the wall top cap and are held in place with "T" shaped batten strips, inserted into the patented "grip" studs.
The battens cover the vertical seams providing a finished look without any screws or fasteners showing.
Partition walls and any "blocking" required for support of sinks, counters, etc., are installed next.
The center and right photos show the same offset corner as before, where the kitchen sink and cabinets will be located.
In the left photo the HVAC airhandler and ductwork has been started.
The shower stall is in place and plumbing finished. Right photo shows partial wall framing with blocking for sink support.
